Site Head - Ballada
Education Qualification: BE/ B. Tech (Mining/ Any other Engineering field). Preferably MBA from a premier institute.
Relevant Experience:
- 10-15 years relevant experience in the mining industry with relevant commercial knowledge.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Experience in developing and managing large infra contracts/ EPC/ outsource activities
- Experience in managing people with respect to skills development and succession and career planning
- Experience to manage/lead viability project studies and to evaluate projects, financial evaluations of projects.
- High level of analytical ability and commercial acumen
- Should have exposure of digitization, automation and technology-based processes.

Business Strategy Alignment:
*Collaborate with the business leadership to align mining operations strategy with overall business objectives and production targets.
*Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth and ensure alignment between mining operations and organizational goals.
Operational Control and Direction:
*Ensure stringent adherence to safety standards, including DGMS (Directorate General of Mines Safety) compliances, forest department regulations, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
*Strategically deploy resources, including equipment and personnel, to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness while meeting all compliance standards.
Resource Deployment and Management:
*Strategically deploy resources, including equipment and personnel, to maximize operational efficiency and meet production targets.
*Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and execute proactive strategies for addressing seasonal challenges.
Collaboration with Engineering Teams:
*Work closely with engineering teams to plan and execute mining operations effectively, leveraging technical expertise to overcome challenges.
*Engage in proactive planning to address seasonal challenges and optimize operational performance throughout the year.
Customer Interaction and Quality Assurance:
*Resolve customer queries related to product quality, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Safety Management:
*Ensure implementation and adherence to the highest standards of Safety, Health, and Environmental management (IMS) programmes and objectives.
*Zero Tolerance regarding safe work practices and implement safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to mitigate risks and hazards in mining operations.
*Conduct regular safety rounds, inspections, and audits to identify potential safety gaps and areas for improvement.
*Implement corrective actions to address identified safety gaps promptly, minimizing the risk of accidents or incidents in the workplace.
