Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.

Job Purpose: The Construction Planning Senior Team Member is responsible for developing and managing EPC schedules at various levels (L2, L3, L4) to ensure project alignment with scope and timelines. This role involves conducting risk and delay analyses, creating and managing S-Curves, and preparing various management reports, including Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports. They perform earned value and variance analyses to track performance and forecast trends, update the Risk Register and Change Log, and prepare project closeout reports. Additionally, they manage resource allocation and procurement logistics, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and support the execution team. By mentoring their team and ensuring effective planning and reporting, the Senior Team Member contributes to successful project execution and timely delivery.

Educational Qualification:

Work Experience (Range of years):

10-15 years of experience in the Petrochemical/Oil & Gas industry

At least 6 years of experience in Planning & Scheduling roles

Experience in all phases of Project Planning and Project Control activities, from Conceptual Projects to Construction and Commissioning

Construction Planning Senior Team Member-PETCHEM

Project Planning and Scheduling:

Develop and update EPC schedules at L2, L3, and L4 levels to align with project scope and timelines.

Conduct risk and delay analyses by monitoring critical path activities, identifying lagging tasks, and proposing resolutions.

Create and manage S-Curves and various MIS reports, including Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), and 90-day look-ahead plans.

Determine resource requirements including manpower and machinery, and plan work sequences for project activities.

Monitoring and Control:

Perform earned value analysis to assess project performance and forecast future trends, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.

Execute variance analysis by reviewing discipline-wise progress and addressing discrepancies between planned and actual performance.

Update and maintain the Risk Register and Change Log Register, documenting and managing changes and risks effectively.

Prepare and review project closeout reports by consolidating project data, ensuring effective closure of project controls.

Resource and Procurement Management:

Ensure timely resource allocation by assessing and approving manpower, machinery, and material needs, and coordinating with the Planning Lead on execution strategies.

Monitor procurement and logistics to ensure material availability and timely delivery in line with project schedules.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate inputs, resolving issues impacting project schedules and deliverables.

Prepare and present management reports by compiling critical issues, project updates, and progress data for senior management meetings.

Team Leadership and Support:

Supervise and support the execution team by providing guidance and oversight to ensure alignment with planning objectives.

Mentor and develop the supporting role under your supervision to enhance their skills and performance in project execution.
