About The Job:
- Experience: 5+ Years
- This position holder will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of our self-hosted Alteryx and Tableau environments.
Essential Job Functions:
- Administer and maintain Alteryx Server in a Windows servers self-hosted environment with user-managed MongoDB repository and SQL Server repository
- Manage Tableau Server administration, including performance optimization and user access management
- Implement and oversee Alteryx customer managed telemetry to monitor system health and usage patterns
- Create and maintain comprehensive Tableau usage dashboards to provide insights into platform adoption and performance
- Conduct detailed Alteryx server logs analysis to identify issues, optimize workflows, and ensure system reliability
- Perform workflow performance analysis to identify bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies
- Troubleshoot and identify root causes for Tableau dashboard performance issues, implementing effective solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Maintain system documentation, security protocols, and disaster recovery procedures
Qualifications:
- We expect that you have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Alteryx and Tableau administration in enterprise environments.
- You should have extensive experience working with Windows servers in self-hosted environments, including management of user-managed MongoDB repositories and SQL Server as repositories for Alteryx.
- Experience with Alteryx customer managed telemetry and creating comprehensive Tableau usage dashboards is essential.
- You have proven expertise in Alteryx server logs analysis, workflow performance analysis, and identifying root causes for Tableau dashboard performance issues.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are crucial, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- At the personal level, you are detail-oriented, proactive, and have excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You have a service-oriented mindset and are passionate about enabling others to succeed through reliable, high-performing analytics platforms.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is advantageous but not required.
