About The Job:

• Role involves design and development of high performance PL/SQL programs.
• Location: Bangalore.
• Experience Required: 6–8 years.
• Primary skills include Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Capital Markets (Investment Banking).

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop PL/SQL code with strong focus on performance tuning.
• Create and maintain logical data models.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance related issues.
• Code unit tests and automated acceptance tests.
• Collaborate with the team to break down and task out user stories.
• Conduct research, design, and prototyping activities.
• Work collaboratively with developers and testers, including pair programming when required.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and testers to align software with business requirements.
• Check in new code that builds successfully into the shared repository on a daily basis.
• Document low latency and high performance PL/SQL programs.
• Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure solution designs are compliant with defined requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience in designing and developing PL/SQL programs.
• Strong experience troubleshooting performance related issues.
• Experience creating unit tests and automated acceptance tests.
• Ability to collaborate effectively on user story decomposition.
• Strong team collaboration skills, including pairing with developers or testers.
• Experience working closely with Product Owners and QA teams.
• Desirable: Experience in Investment Banking domain.
• Desirable: Experience interpreting AWR reports and TKPROF output.
• Desirable: Experience using Oracle SQLLDR.
