Essential Job Functions:
- Understand client requirements properly.
- Own engineering tasks and drive them to completion.
- Collaborate with other teams to complete the required automation workflow.
- Providing technical support, troubleshooting issues and analyzing problems within the Windows environment.
- Working with various teams (e.g., application developers, other SMEs) to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Documenting procedures, processes, best practices, and knowledge sharing with other team members.
- Analyze and learn/upskill as per the requirement.
- Implement the industry standard best practices.
- Automate the required tasks through scripting language and automation tools.
- Perspective to look at solutions using automation approach.
- Exp: 9 - 13 years
- Expert level experience with Windows Servers (2016/2019/2022) & configuration management tools like SCCM.
- In-depth knowledge in Microsoft Windows system internals.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (Hyper-V & VMware), backup and disaster recovery solutions, Infrastructure Security & Compliance.
- Proven experience with Active Directory functions like Group Policy, DNS, LDAP and PKI.
- Developing and debugging automation scripts, potentially using languages like PowerShell.
- Experienced in Infrastructure services like deployment/decommissioning of Windows Servers.
- Experienced working in Agile environment using JIRA as scrum tool.
- Should be able to document the processes, procedures and best practices in collaboration with Architects & Technical Leads which can guide other engineers to utilize the same.
- Experience in creating and configuring VMware vRA/vRO workflows for automation and orchestration is an advantage.
- Working experience in a cloud-computing environment such as Azure, AWS, GCP is a plus.
- Good knowledge and hands on experience in DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Bamboo is a plus.
