Investment Specialist/ Investment Advisor

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

Core Functional
- Providing end-to-end investment advisory services with a special focus 
on direct equities as an asset class
- Profiling clients and documenting their investment objectives
- Tracking equity markets, creating model portfolios and building a robust 
direct equities offering within investment advisory
- Creating advisory pitches and investment proposals
- Carrying out portfolio reviews
- Providing regular guidance and advice on markets, investments, and products

Client Management (Internal & External)
- Working closely with Relationship Managers and their advisory clients
- Interacting regularly (including presentations) with clients for advisory 
requirements
- Working closely with RMs, Team Heads and Business Heads for pitching 
advisory credentials to prospects

Regulatory Responsibilities & Risk Management
- Part of the Investment Advisory Division
- Compliance with SEBI Investment Advisory Regulations
- Liaise with Legal, Compliance, and Operations for process and 
documentation-related aspects and regulatory requirements

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Personal and Social
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good collaboration skills

Professional and Technical
- Approximately 8-10 years of experience
- Strong functional knowledge across asset and product classes
- Certified as a Registered Investment Advisor under SEBI IA Regulations
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good presentation skills
