Essential Job Functions:
- Configure FI (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Profit Center) modules.
- Analyse business requirements and provide effective SAP solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Perform integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD) and ensure seamless data flow, with strong focus on FI integration touchpoints impacting payments, bank accounting, and reconciliation processes.
- Hands-on experience in Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) processing, including transaction processing and troubleshooting in FEBAN, interpretation algorithms, posting rules, and clearing issues.
- Strong knowledge of DMEE (Data Medium Exchange Engine) for payment file generation, including DMEE tree configuration, XML/payment formats, and debugging of file generation and bank rejection issues.
- Good understanding of end-to-end payment lifecycle (F110), bank integration, and reconciliation, including issue analysis across FI, bank statement processing, and payment files.
- Work with end users and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver functional specs.
- Prepare and execute test plans, UAT, and support deployment activities, including regression testing for bank/payment-related changes (DMEE/EBS scenarios).
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement, with ability to perform root cause analysis for issues related to FI postings, payment runs, bank statement processing, and integration flows.
- Experience in handling BAU/AMS support tickets, including analysis of errors in FEBAN, payment program (F110), and integration issues between FI, CO, and bank interfaces.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of strong consulting experience in SAP FICO and S/4HANA
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of financial close processes, including period-end/year-end activities, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Ability to design and troubleshoot tax configurations (withholding tax, VAT/GST setups, tax codes, and tax procedures)
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Fiori apps, SAP Query, or standard financial reports.
- Experience with month-end automation tools or features (accrual engine, recurring entries, automatic clearing).
- Understanding of migration concepts (LSMW, BAPIs).
- Should have hands on experience in interface functionality
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
