We have Immediate requirements for "Design Engineer" Position with our US Based MNC Clients In Bangalore.
About Position:
Experience: 3-4yrs
Location Bangalore
Job Description:
Experience in 3D modelling
Experience in 2D drafting
Drawing Reading capability
2D to 3D and 3D to 2D conversion
Pro/E, NX, OSDM, Software knowledge and
SAP basic knowledge would be added advantage
Basic knowledge on New Product Development
Basic knowledge on Product Design
Hands on ECR and ECN a must
Team performer
Exposure to Global teams
Good Communication skills. (Written and Spoken)
Good Logical thinking capabilities
Good Problem solving capabilities
Knowledge on DFMEA and hands on will be an added advantage
Good knowledge on GD&T.
Hands on with Plastics and Sheet metals.
Duties and responsibilities
Carry out Engineering Change Management.
Carry out Customer / Vendor drawing creation.
Migration of 3D model to 2D drawing and
Legacy conversion of 2D drawing to 3D model.
Follow up with Vendors for samples during the design change.
Create Engineering Specifications, Instruction specification, packaging and Product Specifications.
Prepare schedules for projects and follow up with supply chain, manufacturing, quality and product management teams to ensure that the time, cost and quality goals are achieved.
Help senior engineers with designs, drawings, preparing engineering documents etc...
Brainstorming as and when required.
Participate in Lean activities wherever assigned.
Work towards continuous improvement in all area
Ensure Dept. compliance with all Molex policies & procedures
Support all company focal points as required
Any other projects/work assigned by management
Knowledge on Molex Quality Management System (QMS)
Knowledge on Molex Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Ensure 6S in the office area and on the Servers.
Preparation of presentations and involve in the weekly global calls to update on the project to the full team.
Ensure the projects time lines are met without any compromises.
Ensure full project documentation on the Share Point Sites.
Also carry out all activities mentioned by the Manager.
Job assigned needs to be accomplished within stipulated time.
Will be also working with the operations in the assembly lines based on the projects.
