Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst
Core Responsibilities
- Business Requirement Management
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams
- Gather, refine, and validate business requirements before implementation
- Solution Analysis & Recommendation
- Perform due diligence on business requests
- Recommend optimal solutions aligned with existing LMS/Salesforce implementations
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, support, pricing, and business teams
- Manage stakeholder expectations and translate requirements into actionable outputs
- Process Alignment & Optimisation
- Ensure solutions align with end-to-end sales processes
- Validate business impact before moving to engineering implementation
- Engineering Coordination
- Partner with engineering teams to translate requirements into system changes
- Engage in technical discussions to ensure correct implementation
- System Understanding & Support
- Understand existing Salesforce (SFDC) implementations and configurations
- Support business use cases like pricing updates, system changes, and process enhancements
- Documentation & Process Mapping
- Create clear documentation, BRDs, process maps, and user stories
- Ensure clarity for both business and technical teams
- Testing Oversight
- Ensure testing is completed (UAT coordination), though not directly executing tests
- Fast Execution & Delivery
- Work in a high-urgency environment with fast-moving deliverables
- Quickly ramp up and contribute with minimal handholding
Technical Expectations
1. Salesforce (SFDC) Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform (must-have)
- Ability to:
- Understand existing configurations
- Evaluate technical feasibility of business requests
- Have informed discussions with engineering teams
2. Techno-Functional Capability
- Not a pure BA or admin Techno-functional profile required
- Must be able to:
- Understand system implementations
- Suggest technical solutions (without coding)
- Validate technical recommendations from stakeholders
3. Business Process Expertise (Sales Domain)
- Strong understanding of sales processes and workflows
- Ability to:
- Map business requirements to CRM processes
- Identify gaps and recommend improvements
4. Business Analysis Skills
- Strong skills in:
- Requirement gathering
- Process mapping
- Documentation (BRDs, user stories)
- Expected to lead ~50% of role in business analysis activities
5. Stakeholder Management
- Ability to work with highly technical stakeholders
- Communicate effectively between:
- Business teams
- Engineering teams
6. Technical Depth Expectation (Clarified)
- NOT a developer role
- No need for deep coding (Apex etc.)
- Must have:
- Strong understanding of how systems are implemented
- Ability to interpret technical designs and system behaviour
7. Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Salesforce Admin Certification (flexible if strong experience)
- Exposure to CPQ (Configure Price Quote) good to have

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Business Systems Analyst / Consultant to support the Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong focus on Sales Cloud. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can bridge business requirements with technical implementation, work closely with stakeholders across sales operations, Finance, Pricing and Engineering, and drive end-to- end solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design for Salesforce Sales Cloud
Solid knowledge and hands on configuration and/or development experience with Salesforce platform
Serve as the primary BSA liaison between business stakeholders (Sales Ops, Pricing, Sourcing ) and the technical delivery team.
Develop detailed user stories, functional specifications, data flow diagrams, and process documentation.
Drive UAT planning, test case development, and defect triage with business users
Support change management, training documentation, and go-live readiness activities
Ensures the application is supported by creating comprehensive requirement documentation and test cases.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of Salesforce BSA / Consultant experience with at least 3 years at a senior level. Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud configuration, customization, and optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification (required);
Excellent stakeholder management skills comfortable partnering with Sr Manager/director level business leaders.
Hands-on domain knowledge in business processes and systems that support Sales.
A strong sense of urgency to help customers and the ability to identify insights and deliver quality, innovative experiences quickly.
Strong documentation and process mapping skills
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
Suggested Skills
Experience with Salesforce CPQ
Experience with Agile development and methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-moving environment
