Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)
  • Develop, maintain, and support robust integration solutions using scripting languages like Unix Shell Script and Perl, including the use of modules.
  • Work with Web services (e.g., SOAP) and Remote Function Calls (e.g., SAPRFC) to facilitate real-time data exchange with internal and external systems.
  • Process incoming data from multiple partners in various standard industry file formats such as EDIFACT, IDoc, XML, FF, CSV, and Excel.
  • Perform File Format Mapping and data conversion to transform source data into the required internal format for our systems.
  • Develop Python script for a variety of tasks, including scripting, data processing, and application development.
  • Establish and manage secure database connections to Oracle and SQL Server for data retrieval and delivery.
  • Manage and troubleshoot data transfers using a variety of protocols, including SFTP, FTPS, OFTP, and X.400.
  • Ensure data is securely delivered to various destinations, including cloud storage like AWS S3 and network file systems like NFS/EFS and CIFS.
  • Implement data security measures, including encryption of data, with knowledge of Format-Preserving Encryption (FPE) being a plus.
  • Participate in the full application lifecycle, from analyzing and designing new integration workflows to developing, debugging, and supporting existing processes.

Mandatory skills
  • Hands-on experience in a senior data integration or application management role.
  • Extensive expertise in data transformation and mapping of diverse file formats (EDIFACT, IDoc, XML, CSV, etc.).
  • Advanced proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting and Perl, with a strong portfolio of complex solutions.
  • Knowledge of secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, OFTP, X.400) and practical experience with AWS S3, NFS/EFS, and CIFS.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems and SAPRFC.
  • Proven ability to analyze, design, and debug complex integration workflows.
