Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITSM Integration Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and external systems. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in ITSM modules and hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems/applications
Work extensively on ServiceNow ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog
Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services
Build and manage integrations using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and Scripted REST APIs
Create and maintain MID Server configurations for data exchange
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues and performance bottlenecks
Ensure data consistency and security across integrated systems
Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
Strong experience in ServiceNow ITSM modules
Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules
Experience with IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and MID Server
Knowledge of OAuth, Basic Auth, and API security
Experience with external system integrations (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Azure, AWS, etc.)
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Experience with ServiceNow Discovery / CMDB integrations
Exposure to ITOM or HRSD integrations
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Nice to Have:
Experience with event-driven integrations (webhooks, message queues)
Exposure to tools like Postman, Jenkins, Git
