Job Description - IT Administrator (Network & Endpoint Management)
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols, firewalls, and proper segmentation to enhance security and performance.
- Conduct security audits, assess vulnerabilities, and ensure timely patching and updates for network devices and endpoints.
- Configure and enforce compliance policies, security settings, and configuration profiles in Microsoft Intune for Windows and Mac devices.
- Manage and deploy applications remotely while ensuring device compliance with corporate policies.
- Administer Microsoft Intune for mobile device and application management, including troubleshooting endpoint security and software-related issues.
- Provide technical support for end-users on network connectivity, device enrolment, and security configurations.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and conditional access policies across cloud applications and endpoint devices.
- Collaborate with IT Operations, SysAdmin, and Information Security teams to define security measures, patch management, antivirus, and firewall configurations.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection and leverage Microsoft Azure for cloud-based solutions.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, ensuring proper tracking, security, and lifecycle management for hardware and software.
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups, antivirus management, and system updates.
- Document network configurations, Intune administration procedures, troubleshooting guides, and compliance reports.
- Assist in IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and the integration of network systems with other IT services.
