About the Role:
Voya Global Services is seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Leader to head our Digital Technology Delivery team at the India Global Capability Center (GCC). The ideal candidate will drive strategic digital initiatives, lead engineering transformation, and partner with global technology and business leaders to deliver next-generation customer experiences across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of digital programs across web, mobile, cloud, APIs, and customer portals.
  • Drive engineering excellence by implementing best practices in Agile, DevOps, and cloud-native development.
  • Collaborate with business, operations, and global technology stakeholders to align digital initiatives with enterprise strategy.
  • Foster innovation through AI/ML, Low Code/No-Code, Intelligent Automation, and modern UI/UX.
  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of software engineers, architects, product owners, and QA professionals.
  • Oversee vendor partnerships for delivery scalability and efficiency.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and performance excellence.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in technology delivery, including 5+ years in digital engineering leadership roles.
  • Strong background in Java stack, microservices, API development, and cloud (AWS/Azure).
  • Proven success in digital modernization and legacy-to-digital transformation projects.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive leadership capabilities.
  • Experience managing large distributed teams (onsite-offshore model).
  • Prior exposure to retirement services or insurance domain is a strong plus.
