Role Overview:We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Vue.js, Java, and Node.js to design and develop high-quality, scalable applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting solutions, leading a development team, and ensuring code quality and performance. This role requires hands-on technical leadership and collaboration with global teams to drive projects from development to production.
Key Responsibilities:- Architect and design scalable solutions, creating Delivery Playbooks and technical documentation.
- Provide accurate project estimations and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Maintain high coding standards, enforcing best practices and performance optimizations.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Oversee feature development and bug fixes, ensuring no regressions are introduced.
- Drive projects through the development lifecycle, from environments to production deployment.
- Collaborate with onshore teams during PST office hours, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
- Implement test automation using Jest (Unit Tests) and Playwright (Component Tests).
- Conduct performance analysis and optimizations during feature development and delivery.
- Expertise in Vue.js (2.x), including best practices, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience in Node.js (14/16) and Java.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of Micro Frontend (MFE) and Backend for Frontend (BFF) architectures.
- Hands-on experience in test automation (Jest, Playwright).
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers.
- 2+ years of experience working with global teams.
- Strong understanding of accessibility best practices.
