| Description: Design and develop scalable, high-availability backend services using Golang. • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services, including protobuf contracts and versioning practices. • Own services end-to-end: design, implementation, code reviews, release, and production support/troubleshooting. • Implement microservices architectures with clear boundaries, reliable communication patterns, and fault tolerance. • Work with asynchronous/event-driven components (message brokers such as Kafka/RabbitMQ/NATS are a plus) • Containerize applications (Docker) and deploy/manage services on Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS depending on environment) • Write unit/integration tests and ensure service quality via automation and code review practices. • Implement secure API practices (authentication/authorization) and follow engineering best practices. | |||

8+ years overall backend development experience with 5+ years in Golang in production environments • Strong Go fundamentals: concurrency (goroutines/channels), error handling, performance tuning, profiling. • Experience building REST APIs and/or gRPC services. • Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems concepts. • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices. • Database experience with at least one of: PostgreSQL/MySQL and/or NoSQL (MongoDB/Couchbase/Cassandra). • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and communication skills. • Golang – Must have very good hands on knowledge of development based on golang (concurrency, hwo to solve potential issues in high volume calls, etc) • Building and deploying on google gcp (If not google, then AWS / Azure exp also ok, but candidate must be able to adopt and work on Google Cloud) and use github and CI/CD tools effectively • Grpc ( protocol used for golang APIs) - not mandatory, but would be helpful if candidates know how to use it |
