- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent. Additional certifications in governance, risk, or assurance are desirable.
- Experience: 10+ years of project/program management experience, with at least 5 years in governance or assurance leadership roles.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and governance frameworks.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Governance Framework Development: Design, implement, and oversee project management governance standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assurance & Compliance: Conduct independent reviews and audits of projects/programs to ensure adherence to governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Provide transparent reporting and dashboards to executive leadership on project health, risks, and performance.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and escalate risks/issues across the portfolio, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor project delivery quality, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and industry best practices.
- Capability Building: Mentor and coach project managers on governance practices, assurance techniques, and compliance standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements in governance processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure integrated governance across the enterprise.
