Associate Manager - HR Shared Services
Skills & Competencies
- 5-7 years of hands-on payroll experience.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and Oracle.
- In-depth understanding of Indian payroll laws and compliance.
- Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
Education
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, HR, or Business Administration.
Payroll Management
- Manage complete payroll lifecycle including monthly payroll, arrears, bonuses, ex-gratia, incentives, and full & final settlements.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
- Validate payroll inputs such as attendance, leave, salary revisions, and reimbursements.
- Perform payroll reconciliations and post-payroll checks.
Payroll Systems (SAP / Oracle)
- Knowledge and hand-on experience of HR MS like SAP HCM and Oracle.
- Maintain employee master data, salary structures, and statutory configurations.
- Support system upgrades, testing, and payroll automation initiatives.
- Generate Payroll MIS and other management reports as per requirement.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus Act, and Income Tax (TDS).
- Handle statutory filings, challans, and returns.
- Ensure payroll compliance as per New Wage Code.
Tax & Year-End Activities
- Manage income tax declarations, projections, and Form 16 issuance.
- Address employee tax-related queries.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as SPOC for payroll-related employee queries.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, auditors, and external payroll vendors.
