ETL Developer
We are looking for an experienced MSBI / ETL Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server technologies, ETL development, and reporting solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL processes and reports using Microsoft BI tools.
Key Responsibilities:
" Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using SSIS.
" Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) solutions from multiple data sources.
" Create and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and CTEs using T-SQL.
" Perform data validation, data cleansing, and data transformation activities.
" Develop and deploy SSRS reports including drill-down, drill-through, matrix, tablix, chart, parameterized, and sub-reports.
" Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, SQL Server Agent jobs, and production support issues.
" Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and ETL packages.
" Work with multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Flat Files, CSV, and Excel files.
" Implement Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1 & Type 2), Lookup, Merge Join, Conditional Split, Aggregate, Derived Column, and other SSIS transformations.
" Deploy ETL packages and reports across Dev, UAT, and Production environments.
" Maintain documentation for ETL workflows, reports, and database processes.
" Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and development teams to understand business requirements.
" Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and use Azure DevOps for task tracking and deployment activities.
Required Skills:
" Strong experience in MS SQL Server and T-SQL programming.
" Hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS.
" Experience in ETL development and data warehousing concepts.
" Good understanding of Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
" Experience in production support and troubleshooting.
" Knowledge of SQL performance tuning and optimization.
" Familiarity with SQL Server Agent Jobs, Alerts, and Scheduling.
" Good communication and problem-solving skills.
