About The Job:
  • Project Module - PM Feature for India Localization ProjectJob Title:Finance Functional Lead and Project Accounting & Project Manager Oracle R12 (India Localization)Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Finance Functional Lead & Project Manager to lead the implementation
  • and enhancement of India localization requirements in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
  • This role combines deep functional finance expertise with strong project management capabilities
  • to ensure successful delivery of statutory and business requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Lead finance tracks including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PA within Oracle R12.
  • Drive India localization requirements such as:
  • GST (Goods and Services Tax)
  • TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)
  • Withholding tax, statutory reporting
  • Configure and support modules related to India Localization (Oracle Financials for India OFI).
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Work closely with technical teams for RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).2. Project Management
  • Plan, execute, and deliver the India localization project within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Manage stakeholders across finance, IT, and external vendors.
  • Track risks, issues, and dependencies; drive mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance and reporting standards.3. Stakeholder & Client Engagement
  • Act as the primary liaison between business users and IT teams.
  • Conduct workshops, CRPs (Conference Room Pilots), and user training sessions.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and steering committees.
  • Ensure alignment with statutory compliance and audit requirements in India.4. Testing & Deployment
  • Lead SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Ensure all localization scenarios are thoroughly tested.
  • Support cutover planning and go-live activities.
  • Provide post-go-live stabilization support.5. Compliance & Localization Expertise
  • Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements and updates.
  • Stay current with regulatory changes impacting Oracle India Localization.
  • Validate statutory reports and filings generated from the system
Qualifications:
Mandatory skill
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field (CA/CPA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules.
  • Strong hands-on experience with India Localization (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in ERP implementations.
  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.Key Skills:
  • Oracle R12 Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PA)
  • Oracle Financials for India (OFI)
  • GST, TDS, statutory compliance
  • Project Management (Agile/Waterfall)
  • Stakeholder management
  • Functional documentation (BRD, FSD)

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification
  • Experience in global rollouts or multi-country implementations
  • Exposure to Oracle AIM/OUM methodologyKey Deliverables:
  • Functional design documents (FSDs)
  • Configured Oracle R12 finance modules
  • Successful India localization implementation
  • UAT sign-off and production deployment
