US Mortgage Servicing QC Audit profile

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform US Mortgage Servicing QC Audits - (Default Servicing and Performing Servicing)
• Provide professional and well written exception descriptions and details on exceptions cited during Servicing QC Audits performed
• Responsible for managing multiple priorities and assignments and ensuring assignments are completed timely
• Participate in research and responses to client rebuttals of exceptions cited as requested
• Provide servicing knowledge and support related to regulatory requirements and agency guidelines
• Maintain a working knowledge of servicing regulatory, GSE, and all Agency requirements including Client, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA, and Federal Home Loan Bank
• Assists with regulatory and agency guideline requirements with respect to Servicing QC Questionnaires
• Assist with development and maintenance of Servicing QC Questionnaires and Exceptions
• Conducts research relating to servicing questions from clients as requested
• Collaborate with Servicing QC Manager on new regulations or changes to regulations and agency guidelines
• Participate in ongoing industry training as requested
• Conduct research on new laws as needed
• Assist with miscellaneous/special Servicing Projects
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years US Mortgage Servicing QC Audits - (Default Servicing and/or Performing Servicing)
• Ability to discern between minor and significant risk factors
• Must be able to read and understand various laws/regulations in the mortgage lending industry such as RESPA, TILA, FDCPA, and other specific laws/regulations that apply
• Excellent writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and production personnel
• Computer literate: internet savvy, email capable, competent in use of Excel and Adobe
• General knowledge of one or more mortgage industry Servicing software helpful (i.e., Black Knight, Client, etc.)
• Willing to work from office. This is a pure WFO role.
• Willing to work in Evening/Night shifts as per US time-zones.
