- Government Liaison & Regulatory Affairs
- Build and maintain relationships with local, district, and state government authorities
- Ensure timely approvals, permits, and compliance for renewable energy projects
- Track regulatory changes affecting solar/wind/hybrid energy operations
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key point of contact between the company and:
- Local administration
- Panchayat bodies / community leaders
- Industrial authorities
- Handle sensitive issues such as land, local employment concerns, and grievances
- Project Support
- Support project teams in land acquisition processes and statutory clearances
- Coordinate with internal departments (legal, projects, ESG, CSR)
- Ensure smooth execution by removing external bottlenecks
- Community Relations (CSR Alignment)
- Work closely with CSR teams to align community development initiatives
- Manage local perception and social license to operate
- Address community concerns proactively to avoid disruptions
- Crisis & Issue Management
- Handle on-ground issues such as protests, regulatory notices, or political sensitivities
- Provide quick escalation and resolution strategies
- Represent the company in local forums when required
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain records of approvals, licenses, and stakeholder interactions
- Ensure compliance with state and central policies
