Senior Engineer - Devops

As a Senior Devops Engineer at dunnhumby, you will join an agile team contributing to and maintaining our cloud infrastructure as code, CI / CD pipelines, and working alongside other experienced professionals to deliver our software products. You will be well presented, self motivated and have a clear passion for creating high quality code and systems. You will seek out areas to automate and drive continuous improvements to our software development life cycle.
What we expect from you:
- 6+ years of experience in Devops.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (preferably Azure or GCP)
- Experience of building Infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Deep understanding of tools in the Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform platform
- 3+ years of experience in Python and other automation languages (Go, Bash, shell, PowerShell etc.)
- Skilled building and using automation to implement cloud technologies
- Experience Kubernetes is must have.
- Experience with CI / CD tools (Octopus, Gitlab, Teamcity)
- Experience designing and implementing cloud solutions using IAAS and PAAS
- Extensive experience with logging, metrics and distributed tracing systems (e.g. Prometheus/Grafana/ElasticSearch/stackdriver logging,GCP alerting and monitoring
