Key Responsibilities:Guest Handling & Hospitality
  • Welcome guests warmly and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Escort guests to their tables and assist with seating arrangements.
  • Maintain proper waiting lists during busy hours.
  • Ensure every guest feels attended to throughout their visit.
  • Handle VIP guests, special occasions, birthdays, and reservations professionally.
  • Collect guest feedback and report important concerns to management.
Reservation Management
  • Handle table reservations through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and reservation platforms.
  • Maintain accurate reservation records including:
  • Guest name
  • Contact number
  • Number of guests
  • Timing
  • Special requests
  • Coordinate table allocation with captains and restaurant managers.
  • Monitor reservation flow to avoid overbooking.
Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate with service staff regarding guest arrival and table readiness.
  • Inform kitchen and bar teams regarding special guest requests or celebrations.
  • Maintain communication through walkie-talkie/headset during operations when required.
  • Support smooth guest movement between rooftop, lounge, dining, or private areas.
Guest Complaint Handling
  • Listen carefully to guest complaints and resolve them politely and professionally.
  • Escalate serious concerns immediately to the Restaurant Manager.
  • Follow up with guests after resolution to ensure satisfaction.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of reception/front desk area.
  • Ensure menus, reservation books, POS tabs, and guest records are updated properly.
  • Monitor guest flow during peak operational hours.
  • Coordinate with delivery platforms and assist with order-related guest concerns if required.
  • Assist management during events, live music nights, and special promotions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Presentable personality with professional grooming standards.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure during rush hours.
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and reservation handling.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software is an advantage.
  • Strong guest service attitude and problem-solving ability.
  • Team player with coordination skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • 1–3 years of experience in hospitality, restaurant, lounge, or hotel guest relations.
  • Experience in premium dining, cocktail bars, rooftop lounges, or nightlife operations preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Standing for long operational hours may be required.
  • Fast-paced hospitality environment.
