Role - SAP Extended Service Parts Planning (eSPP) Expert/SAP APO/SAP SPP


Location: Pune, India


Experience: 10-16 years in SAP SCM with at least 4–5 years in SAP eSPP

Responsibilities

  • To lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of SAP eSPP in complex supply-chain environments.
  • Map business processes related to service parts planning, forecasting, procurement, replenishment, and inventory optimization.
  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.
  • Configure system components including:
  • Demand forecasting, stocking strategies, service-level settings
  • Replenishment & supply planning
  • Multi-echelon (level) inventory management
  • Supplier collaboration processes
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, EWM, IBP) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
  • Perform unit testing, SIT, UAT, cutover preparation, and hypercare support.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and deliver prompt, high-quality resolutions.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users and internal teams.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.
  • SAP certification in /SPP/eSPP preferred.


Required Skills

  • 12-14 years of overall SAP experience with 4–5 years in eSPP / SPP.
  • Strong functional knowledge of:
  • Service parts demand planning
  • Stocking & segmentation strategies
  • Replenishment planning
  • Parts lifecycle and supersession
  • Vendor-managed processes & lead-time optimization
  • Expertise in master data (Material, Location, BOM, PPM/PDS, CIF).
  • Experience with integration to ECC/S4HANA via CIF, IDocs, or APIs.
  • Hands-on experience in at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP eSPP.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with global teams and work in a matrix organization.
