Architect - Estimator

Job Summary

We are hiring for ‘Mokal Industries‘ a Canada based construction company specialized in Division 10.

As an Architect Estimator , you will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, coordinating with vendors, and preparing precise project quotations. This is a full-time, in-office position based on a 40-hour work week. You will report directly to the Estimating Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Analysis: Read and interpret tender drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Take-offs & Spreadsheets: Perform accurate quantity take-offs and develop comprehensive estimate spreadsheets.
• Communication: Call and email contractors, clients, and vendors to gather information and build relationships.
• Documentation: Prepare Request for Quotes (RFQs), job folders, and formal quotations using Word and Adobe.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to company filing and organizational requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Background in Architecture.
• Experience: Previous experience in construction estimating or project management is highly valued. Architectural design experience is also considered an asset.
• Software Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English skills, with the ability to explain technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.

• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.

• Job Location: Strictly On-Site - Banjara Hills, Road No.1, opp. City Center Mall.
• Compensation: ₹ 33,000 - ₹ 37,500 monthly
