Triz delivers launch-ready, validated solutions that help OEMs move from plan to product with speed, certainty, and zero surprises.\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe Mechanical Design Engineer will support the development of commercial vehicle systems by creating and managing mechanical designs, CAD models, drawings, and related engineering data. This role involves collaboration with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver compliant, cost-effective, and production-ready solutions in a fast-paced environment.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nEvaluate task scope of work\nPrepare and maintain bills of materials and their representative 3D assemblies.\nProduct data management\nCreate 3D parts and 2D part drawings to meet supplier and regulatory requirements\nLiaise with overseas suppliers and customer on designs\nConduct concept and design reviews\nLearning to operate CAD software packages, PLM systems\nSupport the day-to-day activities of customers\nProvide creative and technically feasible solutions for cost savings, service issues, and product improvements.\nInterface with materials and purchasing on new part design and sourcing.\nInterface with Analysis, Test, and Manufacturing Engineering to determine he most effective and economical use of materials and manufacturing processes.\nInterface with the Product Regulation and Compliance staff to design products that meet government regulations, restrictions and codes.\n\nQualifications\n\nBEng Degree or BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering\nMechanical design engineering experience (3 Years +)\n3D CAD experience\nWilling to travel overseas (USA) for variable periods.\n\nWorking hours:\n\n10h00 –19h00, Monday to Friday (subject to change) with core hours and flexi-time and may require overtime as per project.\n\nOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.\n\nDisclaimer:\nBy submitting your application, you acknowledge and consent that Triz Engineering Solutions may use artificial intelligence tools (“AI Tools”) as part of its recruitment and selection process.
