Tally ERP (strong working knowledge required) and Advanced Excel (analytics, MIS reporting, data management)

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Role Overview

The Accounts Controller will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounting operations of a manufacturing entity. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, adherence to regulatory requirements, efficient handling of accounting systems, and strong financial analysis to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Controls

Manage end-to-end corporate accounting processes.

Oversee daily bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, and month-end/year-end closure.

Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Maintain fixed asset records and handle depreciation accounting.

2. Taxation & Compliance

Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax return preparation and compliance.

Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.

Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns and payments.

3. Financial Reporting

Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis.

Consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial data.

Provide insights on financial performance and cost control.

4. FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)

Prepare forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.

Analyze financial data to support strategic decisions.

Support cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives.

5. Systems & Process Management

Manage Tally ERP entries, control accounts, and system integrity.

Drive improvements in accounting processes and automation.

Ensure proper document management and audit readiness.

Preferred Experience

Experience in manufacturing industry accounting is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting & production processes.

Ability to work independently and manage the accounting function end-to-end.
