Sr.Structural Engineer – Modular Construction - POD Design

• Proven experience in structural design and analysis of steel and concrete structures
• Preferred experience in modular buildings , modular steel structures, and offsite construction systems
• Experience in precast concrete and reinforced concrete structural design
• Good exposure to Light Gauge Steel (LGS) framing design and detailing (Advantage)
• Familiarity with hybrid structural systems (steel + concrete) is an advantage
• Understanding of structural behavior during lifting, transportation, and installation of modular units is desirable

2. RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Perform structural analysis and design for modular and conventional building systems
• Develop calculation reports and design documentation in compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and manufacturing teams to optimize structural solutions for offsite production
• Support connection design and review using FEA tools where required
• Assist in design validation for lifting, transportation, and installation stages

3. SKILLS

Structural Analysis:

• STAAD.Pro
• ETABS
• SAP2000
• SAFE

Connection & Advanced Analysis:

• IDEA StatiCa
• Inventor Nastran or similar FEA software for localized stress analysis

Modelling & Detailing:

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Autodesk Revit (mandatory)
• Exposure to Framecad LGS Detailer, Steelwise, or similar LGS software (advantage)

General Tools:

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

4. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering with minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
• OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8+ years of relevant structural engineering experience
