Greetings From TCS!!!\n\nTCS presents an Excellent opportunity for Engineer – Body, Closures and Exteriors Design\nDesired Experience Range: 4 to 8 Years\nLocation of Requirement: Bangalore\nRequired Skill: Unigraphics, Plastics and Sheetmetal Design\n\nTechnical/Functional Skills:\n\nExpertise in design of bumper fascia, grilles, and exterior trim parts using Siemens NX, including Class‑A/B/C surfaces, DES( Design Execution) sections\nStrong understanding of plastic component manufacturing and assembly requirement (uniform wall thickness, Draft, sink‑mark control, tooling feasibility (gates, sliders, lifters), and warpage reduction).\nStrong expertise in BIW/sheet metal design including styling surface, surface modeling & master sections\nResponsible for designing BIW door structures, inner/outer panels, reinforcements, and sub‑assemblies ensuring manufacturability and performance\nPossesses strong knowledge of integrating door hardware components such as latches, hinges, check straps, window regulators, and sealing systems into the door assembly.\nVehicle packaging and integration with BIW, lamps, hood, fender, crash structures, sensors, brackets, ducts; perform clash checks and ensure no interference.\nGood knowledge of exterior performance and safety requirements and Strong understanding of DFM/DFA principles, practical experience in weld creation and quality criteria\nStrong problem-solving ability, Communication and teamwork, Time management, Adaptability and learning mindset, Flexibility\n\nResponsibility of / Expectations from the Role:\nDeliver Bumper, Facia, Grille and exteriors Trims Design with 100% First Time Quality and On Time Delivery\nDeliver Sheet metal components like upper structure and lower structure components with 100% First Time Quality and On Time Delivery\nDeliver Front, Rear and Side Closures design with 100% First Time Quality and On Time Delivery\nUnderstand and follow customer process, best practice, regulatory requirements while designing the vehicle components\nCommunicate with customer on day today basis in various meetings, participate and conduct design reviews.\nBy collaborating as a team deliver high quality design\n\nNote: We encourage you to register at www.tcs.com/careers for exploring an exciting career with TCS at the time of your application to TCS\nKindly Visit URL: https://ibegin.tcs.com/iBegin/register\na) Complete the online TCS application form (Very Important)\nb) Upload latest resume, Government ID proof (PAN CARD) and l\ntest passport Size Photo (white background is preferable) in the portal after registering.\n\nWarm Regards,\nShalini C – HR-TAG,\nTata Consultancy Services, India.
