Asset Sales Manager
Job Description
Sales & Collection\nDrive sales of used construction machinery equipment in the assigned region (India).\nAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.\nEnsure timely collection of payments in accordance with company credit and collection policies.\n2. Customer Development & Management\nIndependently identify and develop new customers across the region.\nEstablish, maintain, and update customer profiles as per company requirements.\nBuild and manage long-term customer relationships to maximize lifetime value and repeat business.\n3. Opportunity Management\nProactively identify, track, and manage sales opportunities throughout the pipeline.\nEnsure effective conversion from initial lead to closed deal.\n4.
Inquiry Handling\nRespond promptly to all incoming sales inquiries.\nComplete follow-ups within the required timeframe, maintaining high service standards.\n5. Market Coverage\nAdapt to frequent or periodic travel within India to engage directly with local markets, customers, and distributors.\n\nRequirements:\nExperience: Proven experience in foreign trade sales. Candidates with a background in the construction machinery industry or second‑hand equipment sales will be strongly preferred.\nDirect Sales Capability: Solid direct sales experience, with the ability to independently manage the entire sales cycle – from customer acquisition and negotiation to deal closing.
Experience managing distribution channels is a significant plus.\nLanguage: Fluent spoken English for business communication and negotiation; proficient written English to independently handle emails, quotations, contracts, and related documentation.\nTravel: Willingness and ability to accept and adapt to frequent business travel within the assigned region.
