OCD Technical Leader - Azure & MongoDB

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and drive the technical architecture of the OCD platform built on Azure and MongoDB Atlas
• Define, document, and enforce development standards and best practices
• Ensure architectural alignment across backend, data, and platform components
• Review and validate technical designs, code quality, and merge requests
• Promote high engineering standards through structured technical governance
• Ensure consistent implementation of CI/CD and development workflows
• Ensure compliance with non‑functional requirements, including:

oPerformance

oSecurity

oScalability

oReliability

• Proactively identify technical risks and address potential issues early
• Support UAT phases and production readiness activities (excluding RUN)
• Work closely with delivery and platform teams to ensure smooth releases
• Ensure platform stability and technical readiness before go‑live
• Technically lead and mentor backend and DevOps engineers
• Guide teams on design decisions, tooling, and best practices
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement

PROFILE

• Minimum 8-12 years of experience
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Java / Spring Boot
• Strong hands‑on expertise in MongoDB Atlas and NoSQL data modelling
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Experience of CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based workflows
• Experience working on enterprise CRM platforms and/or data‑intensive systems
• Good understanding of scalable, distributed, API‑driven architectures
• Proven experience in a Technical Lead role within offshore delivery models
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with European stakeholders
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
