Job Description

Job Title

Social Media Strategy Manager

Location

Hyderabad (Hybrid role - 3 days)

Reporting To

Senior Director & Head of Marketing

About the Role

TechBlocks is hiring a strategic social media strategy lead/manager to own its LinkedIn-first social media presence and help turn social into a stronger business lever. This is not a posting-only role. We are looking for someone who can understand our business, offerings, GTM priorities, ICPs, and campaign themes, then build and run a social strategy that supports brand visibility, trust, engagement, and pipeline growth. Organic social is the core focus, with collaboration with performance marketing where relevant.

The ideal candidate can translate complex services, solutions, leadership inputs, analyst and event insights, and market themes into sharp, business-relevant social content with minimal handholding after the initial ramp-up. This role is best suited for someone who thinks like a marketer and strategist, not just a channel executor.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own TechBlocks’ LinkedIn-first social media strategy and execution, aligned to ICPs, verticals, funnel stages, business priorities, campaigns, and thought leadership themes.
  • Build and run the monthly social plan and content calendar, including identifying content gaps, narrative opportunities, and priority themes that support brand visibility, trust, engagement, and pipeline growth.
  • Develop narrative direction for social content by translating TechBlocks’ services, solutions, leadership inputs, analyst insights, event takeaways, and campaign priorities into strong content and clear briefs for content and design support.
  • Support leadership content planning and help shape thought leadership opportunities, while keeping the main focus on strengthening TechBlocks’ company social presence.
  • Partner with performance marketing, content, and design teams to ensure social is integrated with broader marketing initiatives and contributes to business outcomes such as website clicks, attributed leads, influenced pipeline, executive visibility, and campaign amplification.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Support employee advocacy initiatives on social media
  • Support TechBlocks channel content selectively
  • Coordinate video-led social extensions such as YouTube/Vimeo where relevant
  • Support event, analyst, and partnership amplification as needed via social channels
  • Maintain light oversight of listing and review platform hygiene where relevant

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone with strong business thinking, strategic ownership, and the ability to connect social media activity to real business impact. This person should be able to think by persona, industry, funnel stage, campaign theme, and business priority, and should be comfortable recommending what TechBlocks should promote, what it should not promote, and why. Experience in complex services storytelling is preferred over high-volume brand social alone.

Required Experience

  • 9+ years of relevant experience in social media, thought leadership, content strategy, or brand-to-demand content roles
  • Strong experience in B2B technology, IT services, digital engineering, or similar enterprise environments
  • Proven ability to handle complex services storytelling
  • Strong understanding of enterprise B2B buying behavior and how social supports demand generation
  • Strong writing, editorial judgment, and content strategy skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with content, design, marketing, and leadership stakeholders

Preferred Experience

  • Experience writing around AI-native transformation, retail, energy and utilities, GCC, cloud, data, platform engineering, and event or analyst-led themes
  • Experience supporting executive thought leadership
  • Experience using social insights and performance data to refine narrative direction
