Area Sales Officer

Job Title: Area Sales Officer (ASO)

Industry: Automotive/Spare-parts/Paints/Consumer Durables/Tyre/Lubricants/Battery/Oil/

Location: Karnataka - based out of Bangalore (Candidates from Karnataka preferred only)

Qualification: BBA & MBA in Marketing Sales from a reputed college

Experience: Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in Sales, preferably in Secondary Sales and Distribution Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve assigned sales targets within the allocated territory.
• Develop and maintain a strong and loyal customer base.
• Formulate and execute effective sales strategies by analyzing market trends and customer needs.
• Manage distributor sales operations and supervise the DSE (Distributor Sales Executive) team.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and channel partners.
• Stay updated on product offerings, market competition, and industry developments.
• Ensure timely follow-ups for payments and order closures.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in Secondary Sales and managing distribution networks.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving business goals.
• Familiarity with the regional market dynamics and customer behavior.
• Confident & should be presentable.
