Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Design Head - IT & Security at our Noida location. The Design Head will oversee IT and security infrastructure design, develop IT strategies, and manage operational processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The candidate requires a deep understanding of both IT systems (passive, active, data, voice and WiFi Networks, Servers, Cloud Environments) and Security systems (Risk Analysis, Physical and Perimeter Security, Surveillance and Access Control, Intrusion Detection etc). The role also entails collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement

integrated and scalable solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients’ existing IT infrastructure, systems, processes, and workflows to design

scalable and resilient technology solutions, including LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, servers,

storage, and cloud services.

• Assess surveillance and physical security infrastructure (cameras, sensors, monitoring

platforms) to identify performance gaps, coverage issues, and operational risks.

• Design integrated technology and security architectures, including CCTV, access control,

intrusion detection, alarm systems, and unified monitoring platforms.

• Develop cybersecurity strategies and best practices to safeguard digital assets, networks, and

critical systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Provide data centre planning and design guidance to support high availability, performance,

and future scalability.

• Create integrated smart building solutions by aligning IT infrastructure with physical security

systems and enabling interoperability with third-party platforms such as AV and building

technologies.

• Design centralized control and monitoring systems for unified management of IT and security

infrastructure.

• Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, and risk evaluations to determine the most

suitable technology and security solutions.

• Prepare and present design proposals, technical reports, and documentation using CAD and

Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), outlining recommended solutions, system

architecture, and implementation strategies.

• Serve as the primary technical consultant during the design phase, guiding clients, clarifying

requirements, and aligning solutions with business objectives.

• Coordinate with project management teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth

implementation of recommended solutions with minimal disruption to operations.

• Oversee project progress including planning, budgeting, resource coordination, and timeline

management to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

• Support installation, integration, and configuration oversight of IT and security systems

executed by implementation partners or contractors.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to deliver

innovative and future-ready consulting solutions.

• Provide ongoing advisory services, including system upgrades, performance reviews, and long- term technology roadmaps for clients.

Qualification

• B.Tech / BE in Civil/Computer Science/IT/Electrical/Electronics

Experience

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT and Security design.

• Proven experience with designing projects of all industry verticals developing IT Strategy and

managing technology implementation. should have managed large size projects.

• Experience working in a consultancy is a bonus point.

• Strong foundational knowledge in information technology, including cloud services, hardware,

networking, architecture, protocols and operating systems.

• Hands-on experience to use ACAD and Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical

concepts.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Confidentally handle and lead meetings with national & international client.

• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain client

relationships.

• Candidate will have to travel to client sites as and when needed.

• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
