Branch Manager- Chennai (Small Appliances)
Job Description
This role will be instrumental in driving sales growth, managing trade marketing initiatives, strengthening channel development, and ensuring overall branch profitability. Key Responsibilities: Plan, forecast, execute, monitor, and review retail and distribution sales strategies for the branch. Achieve sales targets, expand the channel network, manage schemes, and ensure profitability.
Build and maintain an efficient sales operations process and strong channel engagement. Manage outstanding debts per company policy and drive trade marketing activities in collaboration with the marketing team. Enhance the productivity of the sales team, set performance metrics, and facilitate training to develop competencies.
Qualifications: Experience: 12-15 years in retail sales (Distributor, Brand Stores, LRT, and ERT). Knowledge: Strong understanding of retail management, channel development, customer relationship management, and market intelligence. Required Competencies: Continuous improvement mindset Entrepreneurial spirit and accountability Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to inspire and empower team members Communication Links: Daily collaboration with internal teams (Commercial, Customer Service, Marketing, and Category teams).
