Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Manager – R&D (New Product Development) to lead our innovation and process improvement efforts in the agrochemical domain. The ideal candidate must possess deep knowledge of organic chemistry, hands-on lab experience, and a successful track record of scale-up and technology transfer from lab to plant.
Key Responsibilities:
'05; Conduct literature surveys for new product development, existing process optimization, and prepare technical feasibility/Return on Synthesis (ROS).
'05; Identify improvement areas in existing molecules; support plant teams during troubleshooting.
'05; Prepare detailed Product SOPs covering critical parameters, RM details, Do’s & Don’ts, etc.
'05; Plan and verify daily experimental data including reaction details, inputs/outputs, and observations in Lab Note Book.
'05; Review hard and soft copies of analysis data and ensure data integrity.
'05; Ensure all experiment details are verified and well-documented with mass balance, analysis data, and conclusion sheets.
'05; Coordinate with ADL chemists for timely analysis; maintain Sample Register and daily soft record.
'05; Drive lab-level process validation and scale-up for new products; demonstrate the process at Pilot/Plant levels till exhibit batches.
'05; Ensure proper storage and labeling of chemicals, solvents, and standards; maintain consumption/inventory records in both hard and soft formats.
'05; Maintain hygiene, safety, and housekeeping in the R&D premises.
'05; Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Plant, QA, QC, RA, SCM, etc.) for smooth execution of projects.
'05; Conduct minimum 4 technical trainings per year for team members to build capability.
'05; Support Registration/Regulatory Affairs teams with process details, impurity standards, demos, and CIB queries.
'05; Assist Procurement/Vendor Development teams with technical evaluation and support.
