Instructional Designer

As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India servicing clients in over 60 countries, we are seeking talented and ambitious individuals to join our company.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs an Instructional Designer within our Video Production Team, your primary focus will be on creating animated videos on Business Skills for corporate learning and training.\nYou will translate learning objectives into compelling narratives, write scripts that simplify professional skills, and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), animators to ensure pedagogical integrity.\n\nResponsibilities:-\n\nAnalyze learning needs and collaborate with subject matter experts to translate soft skills and business methodologies into structured, practical, and engaging learning experiences.\nWrite high-quality, conversational scripts for animated videos that maintain a professional tone while ensuring high learner retention.\nCreate detailed storyboards that guide the production team, ensuring visual metaphors and animations directly support the learning objectives.\nReview video drafts (2D, 3D, and AI-generated) to ensure they meet educational standards and instructional clarity.\nExperiment with AI tools and interactive elements to enhance the efficiency of the design process and the impact of the final video product.\n\nRequirements:-\n\nA Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in Instructional Design, specifically focused on video-based learning or digital content production.\nProven ability to turn dry business topics (Leadership, Compliance, Communication) into engaging, story-driven scripts.\nDeep understanding of ADDIE, Gagne’s Nine Events, and cognitive load theory as applied to multimedia.\nExcellent English (written and verbal) communication skills with the ability to present concepts to stakeholders clearly.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced production environment with evolving AI technologies.\n\nApplication Requirements:-\n\nPlease include the following with your application:\nA Portfolio or Writing Samples featuring scripts, storyboards, or links to completed video projects you have designed.\nA brief cover letter explaining your approach to making \"Business Skills\" engaging through animation.\n\nWhy Join JoVE?\n\nA competitive compensation package.\nYou will make a direct impact in accelerating science research and in improving student learning in science education.\nOpportunity to work with global teams and in an environment that promotes innovation and collaboration.\nOur strong promotion from within culture draws a clear path to advance your career with us.
