MYP/DP Chemistry

We are seeking a qualified and passionate IBDP Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging and inquiry-based learning experiences for Diploma Programme students. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, experience with IB methodology, and the ability to support students in achieving academic excellence.

• Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons for IBDP students.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the IB curriculum framework.
• Encourage inquiry-based and student-centered learning.
• Prepare students for internal and external IB assessments.
• Guide students in practical laboratory work and experiments.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in curriculum planning, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
• Support students with Extended Essays (EE), TOK integration, and CAS activities when required.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school leadership regarding student performance.

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• B.Ed. or teaching qualification preferred.
• IB DP Chemistry teaching experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of IB philosophy and methodology.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
