Our podcast, Connect with Purpose, features conversations around business, psychology, leadership, performance, and purposeful careers.\n\nWe’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can help us transform long-form podcast content into high-impact short-form and long-form content for LinkedIn and Instagram.\n\nRole Overview\n\nYou will be responsible for editing full podcast episodes and repurposing them into engaging short-form content tailored for professional and social audiences. The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, and platform-specific content trends.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n- Edit full-length podcast episodes (YouTube/long-form format)\n- Create high-quality short-form clips (30–90 seconds) optimized for LinkedIn & Instagram Reels\n- Add captions, subtitles, dynamic cuts, transitions, and basic motion graphics\n- Create engaging hooks and highlight impactful moments\n- Design simple branded templates for consistency across episodes\n- Ensure audio clarity, color correction, and overall production quality\n- Collaborate with the founder/team to align content with brand voice and messaging\n- Turn around content within agreed timelines\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\n- Proven experience editing podcasts or talking-head style content\n- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram content formats\n- Ability to create engaging subtitles and clean visual layouts\n- Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention\n- Basic understanding of branding and visual consistency\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n- Someone proactive and creative.\n- Strong attention to detail\n- Ability to suggest ideas for improving engagement\n- Reliable, communicative, and deadline-driven\n\nHow to Apply:\n\nYou can send me n email on [email protected] and please include:\n\n- Your portfolio (especially podcast or short-form work)\n- Your availability\n- Your expected compensation
