Role Overview:

We are looking for a Research Intern to join our R&D team and work at the intersection of product

innovation, research, and intellectual property (IP).

This role involves working on research papers, data-driven analysis, product insights, and patent/IP

work to support the development of innovative products. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious,

and capable of deriving meaningful insights from research and data

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on products, technologies, and prior art (patents, research

papers, existing solutions)

• Read, analyze, and summarize research papers and technical literature

• Perform data-driven analysis and derive insightful, structured conclusions

• Assist in patent searches, landscape studies, and IP analysis

• Contribute to idea generation and concept development based on research findings

• Support in drafting technical documents, research reports, and innovation notes

• Apply critical thinking to evaluate design approaches, technologies, and solutions

• Work closely with engineering teams to translate research into product direction

Required Qualifications:

Pursuing or completed B. Tech / M. Tech (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Biomedical /

Electronics or related fields)

• Strong ability to read and interpret research papers and technical documents

• Ability to perform data analysis and extract meaningful conclusions

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving mindset

• Ability to question assumptions and evaluate “why” behind designs and solutions

IP & Technical Understanding

• Interest in patents, intellectual property, and innovation strategy

• Ability to understand and analyze prior art and technical disclosures

• Basic understanding of engineering fundamentals and systems

Good to Have (Preferred) :

• Exposure to patent databases (Google Patents, Espacenet, etc.)

• Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, Python, etc.)

• Interest in user-centric product development (comfort, mobility, ergonomics)
