Job Description
- Job Summary:
- We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (PHP) with 5 to 8 years of
- experience in web application development. The ideal candidate must have strong
- expertise in Laravel, MySQL, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. Experience with
- PostgreSQL and CodeIgniter (CI) will be an added advantage. The candidate
- should be a self-motivated team player capable of handling complex development
- tasks and delivering scalable solutions.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP-based web applications using Laravel.
- Design and manage MySQL databases, ensuring high performance and
- security.
- Work with jQuery, HTML, and CSS to create interactive and responsive
- UI/UX.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new
- features.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Implement and maintain APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange between
- systems.
- Optimize application performance and database queries for efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest PHP, Laravel, and frontend development trends.
- Required Skills:
- '05; PHP Frameworks: Laravel (Compulsory), CodeIgniter and YII2 (Preferred)
- '05; Database Management: MySQL (Compulsory), PostgreSQL (Preferred)
- '05; Frontend Technologies: jQuery, HTML, CSS, BOOTSTRAP
- '05; Version Control: Git/GitHub/Bitbucket
- '05; Web Services & APIs: RESTful APIs, JSON, AJAX
- '05; Other: Strong problem-solving skills and debugging expertise
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in PostgreSQL for database management.
- Familiarity with CodeIgniter (CI) framework.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) is a plus.
- Understanding of DevOps tools like Docker, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
- or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in PHP, Laravel, or MySQL will be an advantage.
