As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India servicing clients in over 60 countries, we are seeking talented and ambitious individuals to join our company.\n\nKey Responsibilities:-\n\nIngest, organize, and conform scientific video footage received from production teams and authors worldwide.\nLog and label footage according to JoVE naming conventions, metadata standards, and project folder structures.\nAssemble rough cuts of JoVE Journal video articles based on approved scripts and editorial guidelines.\nPrepare Adobe Premiere Pro project files, template folders, and related assets for the post-production workflow.\nGenerate basic text, graphical, and visual assets using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.\nIdentify and escalate problematic, incomplete, or special-case footage to the Post-Production Supervisor or Producer.\nFollow established workflows while contributing to process improvements as production needs evolve.\nUse approved AI-enabled tools responsibly to support efficiency, organization, transcription, captioning, quality control, editing preparation, and workflow optimization, while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and editorial standards.\n\nExperience & Skill Requirements:-\n\n3+ years of professional video editing experience; experience editing to specifications, templates, or brand guidelines is required.\n1+ year of hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud post-production applications.\nStrong understanding of post-production workflows, including codecs, file formats, proxies, importing, exporting, transcoding, audio cleanup, and media management.\nExperience working with cloud-based file storage, file-transfer platforms, and remote collaboration tools.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify technical issues, inconsistencies, glitches, audio problems, and visual irregularities.\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills.\nAbility to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and following detailed instructions.\n\nDemo Reel is required as part of the application.\n\nWhy Join JoVE?\n\nA competitive compensation package.\nYou will make a direct impact in accelerating science research and in improving student learning in science education.\nOpportunity to work with global teams and in an environment that promotes innovation and collaboration.\nOur strong promotion from within culture draws a clear path to advance your career with us.
