Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Karnal for a Press Shop Engineer specializing in sheet metal. The role involves managing press shop operations, ensuring production efficiency, and maintaining the quality of sheet metal products. Additional tasks include monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting operational issues, coordinating with the maintenance team, and implementing process improvements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in handling press shop machinery and equipment for sheet metal production
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and material properties related to sheet metal
- Skills in troubleshooting, process optimization, and quality control methodologies
- Experience in production planning, team coordination, and meeting operational deadlines
- Knowledge of safety protocols and measures in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive, positive & process driven approach
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Mechanical or Production Engineering/diploma
- Prior experience in the agricultural or manufacturing industry is an advantage
