Job Description\n\nLocation – Chennai/ NCR/ Mumbai/ Pune/ Bangalore\n\nExperience Range - 5 to 10 years\n\nBG /Unit/Account - Sustainability advisory, Global Sustainability Services Practice\n\nRole Name - Sustainability Advisor - Business\n\nPreferred Specializations (optional) - Environmental management/ MBA (finance/ supply chain/strategy)/ Sustainability/ Environment\n\nPreferred Skill Set (Optional) - Preferably with domain context & technology enablement - sustainability strategies & frameworks like GRI/ CSRD/ CSDDD/ SASB/ TCFD/ BRSR etc.; Net Zero, Decarbonization, climate resilience, energy transition, sustainable finance strategies;\n\nBase location of the candidate (post joining TCS)\n\nBrief about the Unit:\n\nPowered by OneTCS mindset & TCS' full services capabilities, the Global sustainability services practice (GSSP) focusses on driving innovation and ecosystem led sustainable growth for clients across all industries across the globe.\n\nConsulting practice within strategy & advisory unit of GSSP focusses on driving cross industry advisory services for client's via co-creating the strategy and building the roadmap to achieve the same. Specific cross industry focus areas include ESG reporting, Climate, Biodiversity, Decarbonization, GreenIT, Circularity, Sustainable supply chain, Safety, DE&I etc.\n\nResponsibilities / Expected Deliverables:\n\n- Establishing/ Refining overall sustainability strategy strategy/ plans\n- Driving focused assessments/ initiatives for specific areas like Circularity/ Biodiversity/ Decarbonization/ Climate risks/ LCAs/ reporting frameworks or regulations etc.\n- Enable integrated roles, processes, systems and insights towards triple bottom line across the enterprise or for specific domains like green finance, sustainable supply chains\n- Building cross industry thought leadership insights for focus areas, in terms of point of views, research papers, PoCs, oversight for specific digital solutions etc.\n- Influence and drive change towards target operating model as per sustainability roadmap/ plans\n- Oversight for selection and deployment of technology enablement such as data, systems/ tools.\n\nDesired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):\n\nMust-Have**\n\n- Consulting & Coaching mindset\n- Experience with leveraging data to build insights for specific industries/ domains.\n- Awareness of reporting frameworks and specific areas like circularity/ climate/ decarbonization etc.\n- Experience of driving transformation programs with digital enablement\n- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools suite.\n- Excellent communication skills, storytelling, business problem identification and framing skills\n\nGood-to-Have\n\n1. Change Management experience\n\nDescription of the Project (Representative):\n\nFew sample projects you could be involved with –\n\nReporting framework readiness advisory\n\nYou will be working as part of the consulting team focusing on delivering as an example a CSRD readiness assessment, which involves mapping roles/ KPIs/ systems etc and identifying the gaps to be covered as per material CSRD requirements.\n\nSustainable supply chain management\n\nYou will be working with advisory team on defining and/ or implementing the sustainable supply chain roadmap. This could involve analyzing current process/ roles/ systems/ insights, selecting and recommending the right mix of tools/ ERP modules and leveraging the digital technologies for enabling decision making
