Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Naval Architect to join our team in Kochi. As a Senior Naval Architect, you will play a pivotal role in technical leadership, QA, & Mentoring of Junior Naval architects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and review stability and ballast calculations using GHS
• Review and approve GHS models for stability calculations
• Establish QA standards and resolve technical issues
• Actively participate and guide concept design development
• Review project documentation and mentor team members

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s or master’s degree in Naval Architecture
• 5 to 8 years of working experience in the Ship design and Hydrostatic calculations
• Advanced expertise in stability software
• Strong foundation in hydrostatics, ship stability and concept design
• Lead reviewer capability and technical decision-making ability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a passion for technology and a willingness to share knowledge.
• Understanding and working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
• Strong understanding of class rules and IMO regulations

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Working Knowledge in GHS/Auto hydro/ Rhino-3D
• Experience in inclining tests and report preparation
• Knowledge of load-out ballast calculation.
• Experience in probabilistic damage stability calculations
