Job Title: Director - FP&A & Commercial • Finance Location: Mumbai Industry: Creative / Advertising / Marketing Services Role Overview We’re looking for a high-impact FP&A professional who can go beyond reporting and act as a strategic finance partner to CFO and business leaders. This role will drive financial planning, client profitability, revenue forecasting, and margin improvement initiatives across a fast-paced, project-driven creative agency environment. You will work closely with Business Heads, Client Servicing, and Leadership to translate pipeline into predictable revenue and profit outcomes.

Key Responsibilities -Financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making and improve overall financial performance. Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly outlooks. Build revenue forecasts based on pipeline conversion Develop scenario models (best case / worst case / realistic) Track variance vs plan and drive corrective actions Partner with Business Heads to validate pipeline quality and conversion assumptions Prepare financial reports, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management.

Analyze Client & Project Profitability Identify margin leakages (over-servicing, under-pricing, scope creep) Act as a finance partner to Business Heads (BUHs) Publish weekly / monthly dashboards: Revenue vs target Pipeline health Margin trends Utilization metrics Build leadership-ready decks (board / CXO level) Improve FP&A processes, reporting cadence, and data quality Work with finance systems / AI tools to automate reporting Experience 10 years in FP&A / Business Finance preferably from Advertising / Media / Digital agencies Skills Strong financial modelling & scenario planning Deep understanding of revenue drivers in service businesses Ability to work with ambiguous / incomplete data Advanced Excel familiarity with AI tools Strong storytelling with numbers Commercially sharp Comfortable in a fast-moving, unstructured environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information effectively. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
