AWS Backend Developer

About Position:

The Internet Circuit Manager is responsible for the lifecycle management, performance, and reliability of all internet and WAN circuits across the organization. This role ensures optimal connectivity by coordinating with service providers, monitoring circuit health, managing outages, and supporting capacity planning. The ideal candidate combines technical networking knowledge with strong vendor management and operational skills.

What You‘ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable serverless backend applications using AWS Lambda
• Build and manage event-driven workflows leveraging AWS services such as EventBridge/Kinesis
• Implement real-time data streaming and processing using AWS Kinesis
• Develop backend services using Node.js with TypeScript
• Optimize system performance for high-volume, low-latency workloads
• Design efficient NoSQL data models (DynamoDB & MongoDB)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, frontend, DevOps)
• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and whiteboard problem-solving sessions
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security best practice

Expertise You‘ll Bring:

• Deep expertise in building serverless backend systems using AWS Lambda
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for scalable backend development
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous system design
• Solid experience in real-time data streaming and processing using AWS Kinesis
• Strong understanding of AWS Event Bus (EventBridge) and event orchestration patterns
• Proven ability to design and implement highly scalable, low-latency distributed systems
• Expertise in NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB) including data modeling and performance optimization
• Experience building APIs and microservices using AWS-managed services
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and whiteboard coding skills
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM roles, and AWS best practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies
• Understanding of microservices architecture and system design principles
• Ability to work in fast-paced, product-driven environments with high ownership
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams
