Job Description

&A1; Lead the Analog Intelligence Inside Tomorrow's Connected World

At Texas Instruments, the chips enabling secure automotive access, industrial sensing, and medical monitoring start with world-class analog design. If you're a seasoned analog design leader with 10+ years of full product cycle experience and a passion for mentoring, architecting, and delivering, this is the most impactful role you'll ever hold.

🔎 About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Analog Design Lead – Mixed-Signal SoC | BLE & UWB Connectivity to join the Central Analog Team within Texas Instruments' Embedded Processors Business Unit (EP BU).

You will lead the architecture, design, verification, and SoC integration of critical analog and mixed-signal IP blocks embedded into cutting-edge Connectivity SoCs — including BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and UWB (Ultra-Wideband) based products targeting automotive, industrial, and medical applications.

This is a principal-level, high-ownership leadership role where you will directly influence product differentiation, mentor design engineers, and drive decisions with wide business impact across multiple products and teams.

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture definition, circuit design, schematic, layout, verification, and SoC integration of analog/mixed-signal IP blocks
  • Own the design of one or more analog IPs including:
  • ADC, DAC, PLL, PGA, Filters
  • Crystal Oscillators, Temperature Sensors
  • LDO, Bandgap Reference, DC-DC Converters, Comparators
  • Lead circuit block spec definition, top-level simulations, and design for test (DFT)
  • Drive design verification (DV) flows and engage with DV tools and methodologies
  • Provide full chip-level leadership — from block spec to silicon sign-off
  • Mentor and manage design engineers and interns — grow their careers and technical capabilities
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Architecture, DV, Test, Layout, Fab, and Packaging teams
  • Present analysis, conclusions, and design decisions to internal customers and business leaders
  • Engage with Fabs, assembly, and test facilities with full visibility on development, qualification, and manufacturing flows
  • Drive technology and business discussions with product and technology leaders
  • Identify risks across domains and adapt to support changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

🛠️ Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • 10+ years of hands-on analog IC design experience — full product development experience preferred
  • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and deep knowledge of analog building blocks
  • Proven experience in analog & power management circuit design — LDO, bandgap, DC-DC, ADC, PLL
  • Experience with high-speed and bipolar design concepts
  • Demonstrated experience leading full chip activities — spec definition, simulations, DV, DFT, layout
  • Understanding of DV flows and tools
  • Excellent mentoring, communication, presentation, and teamwork skills
  • Good grasp of basic digital design fundamentals

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Analog Bipolar and CMOS technologies
  • Exposure to Connectivity SoC products — BLE, UWB, or similar wireless IC platforms
  • Experience working with Fabs and manufacturing/qualification flows
  • Track record of patent filings and technical publications
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product features, cost, and differentiation at market release
  • Experience managing and growing cross-functional engineering teams
  • Strong ability to work in a rapidly changing, technically challenging environment
