This role maintains peak platform health by executing technical tasks, such as job scheduling, patching, and system refreshes, which prevent technical debt from impacting business-critical functions.\n\nWhere you will make a difference:\nIn this role you will:\nSystem Monitoring & Maintenance:\nExecute day-to-day system monitoring to identify and resolve issues promptly.\nPerform patching and system refreshes to keep the landscape secure and up to date.\nManage job scheduling and monitor background jobs to ensure business processes complete successfully.\nProvide system support activities to maintain high availability and performance.\n\nIncident & Operational Support:\nEnsure timely resolution of system alerts and technical incidents.\nAchieve key performance indicators related to alert resolution, job success, and backup completion.\nSolve mostly known or repeatable issues through technical troubleshooting and documented procedures.\nCoordinate with SAP Support to resolve external technical challenges.\n\nSafety & Compliance:\nMaintain documentation and vendor engagement in compliance with applicable laws and policies.\nIdentify and report site hazards or incidents to support a safe working environment.\nEnsure all technical requirements and documentation comply with established governance and security standards.\n\nWho you will be working with:\nInternal Technical Teams: Developers, Integration Teams, Security, and Support Analysts.\nExternal Support: SAP Support.\n\nWhat success looks like:\nSystem Stability: Achieving a Backup Success Rate of 100% and Patch Compliance of 100%.\nResponsiveness: Resolving system alerts within an Alert Resolution Time of 30 minutes.\nProcess Reliability: Maintaining a Job Failure Rate of 2%.\nCompliance: Ensuring 100% of technical tasks and documentation meet safety, governance, and security standards.\n\nHow you will lead:\nIndividual Contributor:\nLives our Officeworks values and behaviours\nProactively contributes to a safe working environment, escalates appropriately if there are unsafe conditions or inappropriate behaviour\nOperates in line with applicable Officeworks company policies and Code of Conduct\nDemonstrates a strong sense of personal accountability and curiosity to learn and develop.\n\nQualifications and work experience:\nEssential:\nEducation: Degree in I.T.\nExperience: Minimum 3 years of SAP BASIS experience.\nSkills: Strong technical troubleshooting abilities and high attention to detail.\nTechnology Proficiency: Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Event Mesh, SAP Cloud ALM / Solution Manager, LeanIX, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD Toolchains, and Monitoring Tools.
