Job Summary:\nThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record within a similar role in the Food industry, with a suitable qualification within building management/engineering. The candidate must have a good knowledge of experience within Electrical engineering. Computer literate, ability to think laterally and possess excellent communication skills or equivalent qualification.\n\n"19;Requires considerable working knowledge of other major areas in the unit and the skill to integrate and communicate that information.\n"19;Requires analyzing activities and/or information involving some original data manipulation or interpretation to arrive at logical conclusions.\n"19;Requires management skills.\n"19;Ability to provide information and associated services to management and customers.\n"19;The ideal candidate must have good leadership skills and have the ability to negotiate and ensure quality work is performed at minimal cost by contractor and subcontractors.\n\nMain Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n"19;Develop, implement and manage emergency programs for the operation and maintenance of all equipment and physical structures and landscaping in compliance with corporate standards, local, state and national codes and regulations to protect the asset, customers and employees, to ensure optimum operations, minimize expenses and maximize customer satisfaction.\n\n"19;Position is responsible for the short and long term planning and day-to-day operations of the engineering division.

Recommends the department's budget and capital expenditures and manages expenses within approved budget constraints.\n\n"19;Keep up to date with all new developments. Full responsibility for Health and Safety procedures of the unit. Ensure maintenance requirements are met whilst keeping within budget, but not compromising on quality.\n\n"19;Develop, implement and direct all Emergency Programs; ensure all equipment is maintained, conduct inspections and drills, ensure compliance with all codes and regulations.\n\n"19;Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses.\n\n"19; Coordinate renovation bidding, define the cost and scope of the project and oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed for minimal cost.\n\n"19;Develop, recommend, implement and manage the department’s budget capital expenditure plan, forecasts and objectives consistent with maintaining a first class property and management’s expectations.\n\n"19; Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Participate in task forces and committees as requested.\n\nQualifications\nEducation:\n"19;Relevant degree, Diploma in Electrical Engineering / MBA in related business discipline from reputed University\n\nWork Experience:\n08 to 10 years experience in similar field with atleast 05 yrs experience in managerial role.\nCommunication Skills:\n"19;Excellent oral and written communication skills; must also be good listener\n\nLanguage / Communication Skills:\n\n"19;English (proficiency)\n\nEncalm Competencies Required to be Successful in the Job:\n"19;Thinking – Information Search and analysis & problem resolution skills\n"19;Engaging – Understanding others, Team Leadership and Developing People\n"19;Inspiring – Influencing and building relationships, Motivating and Inspiring,\nCommunicating effectively\n"19;Achieving – Delivering business results under pressure, Championing Performance\nImprovement and Customer Focus
